UMSAの学生による彼らのためのダンスイヴェントの練習
こんにちわ、ボリビア・インターンシップYoichiです。
ほとんどのラパスおよび周辺地域のローカルな人はUMSAが１番の大学だという認識です。ですのでみんな入りたがるのですね。
ボリビアのほとんどの政治家がUMSAの卒業だったりもします。
文字通りUMSAはボリビアに多大なるインパクトを持っており、われわれはそんな彼らと一緒に働けてとても光栄だしうれしく思います。
先日、友達に誘われ、UMSAの（主に）学生によるダンスのイヴェントの練習を見に行きました。
すべての学部から３つか４つのグループが参加するということのようです。
１つのグループに何名いるかは見当がつきませんが、たくさんいいるのは確かです。
そしてこのイヴェントはなんとUMSAのためだけなのです。その他の大学は参加していません。ラパスの方々はUMSAをスペシャルのものだと認識しており（おそらく）、なんと彼らはイヴェントや練習のために道路を支配して練習までできるのです。
各学部はそれぞれのオリジナルTシャツを作り、学生はそれを着ます。
例えば、エンジニアリングはIngeと書かれたものを着ていました。これはIngenieriaの略ですね。また観光学部はTurismoと書かれていました。
だぶりなどはあったものの、このイヴェントではたくさんの種類のダンスを見ることができます。
前述のようにこのイヴェントはUMSAのためだけのものです。UMSAがどれほどのものか、おそらく想像は難しくないですね。
もちろんたった一つの大学のものなので、このイヴェントはグランポデール（Fiesta del Gran Poder）やオルーロのカーニヴァル（Carnaval de Oruro）と比べると小さいです。
しかし、もし７月にラパスにいるのならば行くべきイヴェントです。
友達などを誘い学生たちのダンスを楽しむことができます。
本番も近づいてきました、行かなくては！

Students at UMSA Practice Dancing for an Event just for and of UMSA on the Street.
So, most of local people in La Paz and surrounding towns believe that Universidad Mayor de San Andres (UMSA) is the best university and they try to get into it.
Most of politicians in Bolivia graduated from UMSA.
Literally UMSA has a big influence on Bolivia and we are so proud, honored, and pleased to work with it.
The other day, I was invited by my friend to a huge practice by UMSA students for their dancing event.
Supposedly all the departments send out 3 to 4 different groups to this event.
I have no idea how many students or teachers are in 1 group, but a lot for sure.
And this event is just for UMSA. No other universites participate in this.
Everyone looks at UMSA as something special (I suppose), so they are even able to practice on the street, blocking it out.
Each department makes its original t-shirts, and everyone in it wears one.
For example, Engineering Department's one says "Inge" on the back, short for Ingenieria. Tourism Department's one says Turismo.
Some groups have chosen to perform the same kind of dance, but you can see a lot of different kinds of dances.
This event is just for UMSA like I said. You can tell how huge UMSA is.
Of course this is just for one university, so the event is smaller than Gran Poder (Fiesta del Gran Poder) or Oruro's carnival (Carnaval de Oruro), but if you are in La Paz in July, you should definitely go.
You can grab your friends and have fun seeing students dancing.
