【ボランティアしたい方】なぜボリビアの大学で教師のボランティアが最高なのか

”海外ボランティア" や”ボランティア ラテンアメリカ””と打つとものすごい数のヒットが出てきて、どれを選べばよいのか迷いますよね？
Projecto YOSIは現地の大学, Universidad Mayor de San Andres (UMSA)でのボランティアの機会を提供しています。
そしてなぜ我々がUMSAでのボランティアをおすすめするのか？
理由はたくさんあるのですが、その中でも１番の理由は生徒たちととても近くなれるからです。
それがどのようにいいのか？？
それはローカルの人たちについてもっと詳しく知れたり、
彼らが何をして過ごすのか、何について話すことが好きなのか、何をして遊ぶのかなどがわかるからです。
またまた私はこの機会のおかげでできた中のいい友達と一緒に無料のハイキングに行ってきました。
約６０人参加です！
このハイキングは完全無料で、支払いは交通費とシェアする食べ物だけです（私はパンとジャムを持っていきました）。
私のその友達は最高です！彼女が私にメッセージで誘ってくれた時、行き方が分からないと返信をしたのですが、そしたら、UMSAで待ち合わせしようよ！といってくれました。なんて優しいのか！
そしてハイキングはとってもよかったです！
まさにアドヴェンチャーでしかもラパスの中心からバスで少しのところです！
まるでジュラシックパークの中の１シーンみたいでした！
（ジュラシックパークはコスタリカが舞台ですよね？もしくわロストワールドのサンディエゴか）。
このトレッキングチームはローカルの中で人気があります。
なのでローカルと触れあえるというのもいいですね！
僕の友達といま友達ではなかったらおそらく私はその存在を知っていなかったことでしょう。
以上から、大学で教師のボランティアをするということはベストだと思います。
特にボリビアでは外国人に興味津々な人が多いのできっといい思い出になりますよ！

【For Volunteer Seekers】Why It Is the Best to Volunteer Teaching at a University in Bolivia.
If you type in "volunteer overseas", or "volunteer in Latin America", tons of stuff comes up, and you have no idea which one to choose.
Projecto YOSI offers opportunities to volunteer at a Local University, Universidad Mayor de San Andres (aka UMSA).
Why do I recommend that you volunteer at UMSA?
Well, there are many reasons, but among many things, the best part of volunteering at a university is that you can be really close to its students.
How does it benefit you?
Well, you can know a lot more about local people, how they spend their free time, what they like to talk about, what they do for fun, what they like to eat, etc.
So, one of my closest friends I have thanks to this opportunity asked me to go join a free trekking again.
There were about 60 people!
It was perfectly free, and all I had to pay for was the transportation and food to share (I brought bread and jam).
And my friend is the best. She messaged me the other day about this, and I said I had no idea how to get there. Then she suggested meeting up at UMSA so that we could go together! How nice of her!!
And the hike was really really nice.
I got to adventure just a bit of a bus ride from the downtown La Paz.
I felt like it was a scene from Jurassic Park (which I believe is based in Costa Rica, right? Or San Diego in Lost World).
Because the trekking team is popular among local Bolivians, you can hang out with a lot of locals!! I would never have know of them if I were not friends with her.
So, I believe volunteering at a university is the best opportunity.
Especially in Bolivia because everyone is interested in people from outside.
